03/15 - On Saturday March 24th, Straightened Arrows, Inc. a faith based nonprofit organization will hold its open to the public monthly 30-target 3-D archery-shooting event. This shoot is sponsored by the Bryan, Ohio VFW. This will permit all adults accompanied with a child under 18 to shoot at no cost, as well as all children under the age of eighteen to participate in our shooting events at no cost. If you have never tried archery and would like to; we have a limited amount of FREE equipment for anyone to use. Sign in anytime between 8 am and 1pm.
We are located at 6872 St. Rt. 15 at the Defiance County Fish and Game Club across from Oxbow Wild Life area, about 5 miles between Ney and Defiance Ohio. 03/02 - Due to the wet weather the archery work day is postponed until the grounds dry out.
03/01 - Saturday at 9am we will be having a work party at the outdoor range to build the new 50 yard archery practice range. You might remember that last year we were asked to receive donations in the memory of Archer, Dana Ostergard. After the donations have been received it was decided that we will build the Dana Memorial Archery Range. Anyone that would like to help is welcome. We will begin work at the Defiance County Fish and Game at 9am.
01/03 - The indoor archery league will now be shooting on Sunday nights only, Monday nights have been cancelled.
11/30 - The indoor league will be adding Sunday nights to the schedule, doors open at 6:30 and the shoot starts at 7 PM.

11/08 - Practice will begin for the 2012 indoor league on December 19th. See the league flyer for all the details.
09/17 - Well 2011 3-D archery club shoots have ended. We had another great year and we will be starting the indoor season in a few short months. Nevertheless, for now it is time to get back to the reason we do all this shooting in the first place - DEER SEASON! We, at Straightened Arrows want to wish you a safe and fun archery season and we look forward to see some of you in the winter at the indoor leagues. Shoot Straight, Allan Hansford- President Straightened Arrows Inc.09/01 - September 10th will be the “Hunter Special” and Youth Shoot at Straightened Arrows Archery Club located at the Defiance County Fish and Game. If you bring anyone younger than 18 you will shoot free! As always, anyone under 18 always shoots free! All concessions both in the club and on the range will be at no cost today as well for everyone. We have a concerted effort in making the course a hunting course with a multitude of blinds and treestands set at hunting ranges with many stand shoots from off our ravine ridge shooting into the bottom, giving the impression of shooting out of a real stand 20 feet off the ground. We go all out at this shoot. You will not want to miss this one!
07/21 - On Saturday July 23rd, Straightened Arrows Archery Club of Defiance, Ohio, a faith based non-profit organization, and The Ohio Department of Natural Recourses will hold “Outdoor Youth Experience”, an open to the public 30 target 3-D archery shooting event. At this special shoot, anyone that brings a child 17 or under will get to shoot at no charge, as well as anyone 17 and under shoots FREE! Also this day all the concessions are at no cost. So, if you have never tried archery and would like to here is your opportunity. We also have a limited amount of FREE equipment for anyone to use if you don’t have any. 04/25 - This year we have asked volunteers to head-up the 3-D set-ups. You will be getting calls periodically from them asking for your help in setting up or tearing down the shoots. The more help we can get the less time and work has to be invested by just a few, so see if you can set-aside time on the set-up / tear down days to lend a hand if asked. We also can use any extra help on set-up Friday (4pm) before all shoots or Saturday (2pm) after the shoot to tear down.
